Sales Assistant 15-20 hrs/week in the Greater Oldenburg Area

You make the difference in one of our more than 2,000 dm stores. As a sales assistant you advise customers with expertise and make retail a pleasant experience. Your working times are agreed with your dm store, Monday to Saturday between 6:00 and 20:00. Part-time, permanent, starting immediately.

• Advising: With expertise and a smile you are there for our customers and leave none of their questions unanswered.
• Presenting goods and arranging the range: Clearly arranged, sorted in the customers' interest and easy to take from the shelf – this is how you help people enjoy shopping at dm.
• Customer orientation: With your openness and helpfulness you make shopping at dm a pleasant experience.
• Passport photo service: You take passport photos for ID documents and the like according to biometric requirements.
• Cashier work: You make sure everything runs smoothly at the checkout and our customers finish their purchase in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: You process incoming online orders and help out when express deliveries need to be prepared for our customers.
• Designing theme tables for promotions together: For our sales promotion measures, your creativity and ideas are just as needed as your organizational talent.
• Inventory: You record stock levels and place orders to make sure our goods in the store do not run out.

• Service mindset: With your empathy, commitment and joy in meeting people, you help us create the typical dm feel-good atmosphere.
• Training and work experience: You have completed commercial training and already have work experience in retail or in a commercial field.
• eID activation for passport photo service: To transmit passport photos digitally to the citizens' offices, you need the eID activated on your ID document.
• Skills: You enjoy digital work and are confident with smartphones and the like. You also have an excellent command of German.
• Team spirit and motivation: So that everyday life in the store runs smoothly, you pitch in as a team and agree working hours together. When things get stressful, your calm can be relied on.
• Initiative, solution orientation and drive to shape things: You want to take the initiative, work independently, develop solutions and help create a future worth living for everyone together with our work community.
• Flexibility: You actively take part in staff scheduling to match your working hours as well as possible with the store's opening hours.
