Sales Assistant 20 hrs/week in 18182 Bentwisch

You make a difference in one of our more than 2,000 dm stores, a meeting place for brands and people. As a sales assistant you always listen to customers' wishes and impress with competent advice. Working times are arranged with your dm store in different shifts (morning, midday, evening) from Monday to Saturday. Part-time (20 hrs/week), fixed-term, from now until 31.12.2027.

• Advising: With competence and a smile you are there for our customers and leave none of their questions open.
• Presenting goods and arranging the range: Clearly arranged, sorted in the customers' interest and easy to take from the shelf.
• Customer focus: With your openness and helpfulness you make shopping at dm a pleasant experience.
• Passport photo service: You take passport photos for ID documents and more following biometric requirements.
• Cashiering: You make sure everything at the checkout runs smoothly.
• Picking express orders: You process incoming online orders and prepare express deliveries.
• Designing theme tables for promotions together: Your creativity and ideas as well as your organisational talent are needed.
• Stocktaking: You record stock levels and place orders so that goods do not run out in the store.

• Service mindset: With your empathy, commitment and joy in meeting people, you help create the typical dm feel-good atmosphere.
• Training and work experience: You have completed commercial training and already have work experience in retail or in a commercial field.
• eID activation for passport photo service: To send passport photos digitally to the citizens' offices, you need the eID activated on your ID document.
• Skills: You enjoy digital work and are confident with smartphones and the like. You also have an excellent command of German.
• Team spirit and motivation: To keep everyday life in the store running smoothly, you pitch in as a team and agree working hours together. When things get stressful, people can rely on your calm.
• Initiative, solution orientation and drive to shape things: You want to take initiative, work independently, develop solutions and help shape a future worth living for everyone together with our community.
