Sales Assistant, 20 Hours per Week, in 38440 Wolfsburg

dm seeks a part-time sales assistant working 20 hours per week at its store at Schlesierweg 15 in Wolfsburg. The role runs from 1 January 2027 to 30 April 2028. Shifts are agreed with the store and take place Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 21:00.

• Customer advice: Help customers with knowledge and a smile, answering all their questions.
• Product displays and range organisation: Arrange products clearly, organise them around customer needs and make them easy to reach, helping people enjoy shopping at dm.
• Customer focus: Make shopping at dm a pleasant experience through your openness and willingness to help.
• Passport photo service: Take passport photos for identity documents and similar purposes that meet biometric requirements.
• Checkout: Keep the checkout running smoothly and help customers finish their shopping in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: Process incoming online orders and help prepare express deliveries for customers.
• Creating promotional displays together: Use your creativity, ideas and organisational skills to support sales promotions.
• Stocktaking: Count stock and place orders to ensure products remain available in the dm store.

• Customer service: Your empathy, commitment and enjoyment of meeting people help create dm’s welcoming atmosphere.
• Training and experience: You have completed vocational training in business or commerce and have work experience in retail or a commercial role.
• Activated eID for the passport photo service: Your identity document must have its electronic identification function activated so you can send passport photos digitally from our stores to local government service offices.
• Skills: You enjoy working with digital tools and confidently use smartphones and similar devices. You also have an excellent command of German.
• Teamwork and motivation: You help your team keep the store running smoothly and agree working hours together. You remain calm when things get busy.
• Initiative, problem-solving and a desire to make a difference: You enjoy taking the initiative, working independently, developing solutions and helping our team create a good future for everyone.
• Flexibility: You actively help plan staff shifts so your working hours fit the store’s opening hours as well as possible.
