Sales Assistant, 20 hours per week in 58452 Witten

As a sales assistant at dm in Witten, you advise customers and help with daily store operations. This part-time role is for 20 hours per week and lasts 12 months. Your shifts are agreed with the store and may be in the morning, afternoon or evening, Monday to Saturday.

• Customer advice: Help customers with knowledge and a smile, making sure all their questions are answered.
• Product displays and range: Keep products neatly arranged, organised around customer needs and easy to reach, helping make shopping at dm enjoyable.
• Customer care: Make shopping at dm a pleasant experience through your openness and willingness to help.
• Passport photo service: Take passport photos for identity documents and similar uses in line with biometric rules.
• Checkout: Keep the checkout running smoothly so customers finish their shopping in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: Process incoming online orders and help prepare express deliveries for customers.
• Promotional displays: Help create themed promotional tables using your creativity, ideas and organising skills.
• Stocktaking: Count stock and place orders to keep products available in the store.

• Customer service: Your empathy, commitment and enjoyment of meeting people help create dm's welcoming atmosphere.
• Training and work experience: You have completed commercial vocational training and already have experience in retail or another commercial role.
• eID activation for the passport photo service: Your identity document must have its eID function activated so you can send passport photos digitally from the store to citizens' offices.
• Skills: You enjoy digital work and are confident using smartphones and similar devices. You also have an excellent command of German.
• Teamwork and motivation: You help your team keep the store running smoothly and agree on working hours together. You stay calm when things get busy.
