Sales Assistant, 30 hours per week, in 88131 Lindau (Bodensee)

Permanent part-time sales assistant role at dm in Lindau (Bodensee), working 30 hours per week. You advise customers on the dm product range and help create a pleasant shopping experience. Shifts are agreed with the store and take place in the morning, afternoon or evening from Monday to Saturday.

• Customer advice: Give customers friendly, knowledgeable advice and answer their questions.
• Product displays and range: Arrange products clearly, with customers in mind, and make them easy to reach.
• Customer care: Help create a pleasant shopping experience by being open and helpful.
• Passport photo service: Take photos for identity cards and other documents that meet biometric rules.
• Checkout: Keep the checkout running smoothly and help customers finish their shopping in a pleasant setting.
• Picking express orders: Process incoming online orders and prepare express deliveries for customers.
• Promotional displays: Help design themed display tables, contributing creative ideas and organisation skills.
• Stocktaking: Record stock levels and place orders to keep products available.

• Customer service: Empathy, commitment and enjoyment of working with people.
• Training and experience: Completed vocational training in business or retail and previous experience in retail or a business role.
• eID activation for the passport photo service: The eID on your identity document must be activated so passport photos can be sent digitally to citizens' offices.
• Skills: Enjoy working with digital tools, confidently use smartphones and similar devices, and have a very good command of German.
• Teamwork and motivation: Help your team, agree working hours together and stay calm in stressful situations.
