Information Security Specialist – Internal Control System

As Information Security Specialist – Internal Control System (f/m/d), you will further develop our internal control system, coordinate the required evidence, and support attestation.

You create and further develop the control framework according to BSI C5:2026 across all relevant domains. The maintenance and further development of the GRC/IKS tooling including control catalog, control matrix, evidence and exception registers are your responsibility. You create and document required evidence and ensure its compliant filing. You support attestation and create and update the required documentation for it. Together with the departments, you ensure a permanently effective control operation for the defined DTS services.

You bring relevant experience in IT security, IT audit, compliance, or IT revision – a corresponding university degree is an advantage but not a must. You have sound knowledge of the BSI C5 criteria catalog and a good understanding of control design and effectiveness testing. You have experience in creating and maintaining system descriptions, control matrices, CUECs, and sub-service provider considerations. Knowledge in risk and exception management as well as a good technical understanding of cloud and data center operations, IAM, network security, and change and incident management round off your profile. You work carefully, detail-oriented, structured, and keep an overview even with recurring tasks and deadlines. With your diplomatic and communicative demeanor, you find suitable solutions even with differing interests. You work self-organized and on schedule and coordinate closely with the relevant departments. You enjoy making processes more efficient through standardization and automation. Your committed demeanor and friendly persistence help you to consistently demand necessary evidence. You proceed pragmatically and solution-oriented and find the right balance between necessary requirements and practical implementation together with our customers.
