Assistant cook, Kursana, Oberursel, ID: 15482

Dussmann Service is seeking an assistant cook for Kursana in Oberursel. This full-time role is for 40 hours per week, starts immediately and lasts one year, with the possibility of continued employment. Work is scheduled on five days per week between Monday and Sunday, with two shifts: 06:00 to 14:30 or 12:00 to 20:30.

• Support kitchen staff and kitchen management with daily food preparation
• Prepare breakfast and lunch, and evening meals where needed
• Help receive deliveries, store goods correctly and carry out monthly stocktakes

• Completed vocational training as a cook, assistant cook or home economics professional, or a comparable qualification
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety procedures is desirable
• Understanding, compassion and respect when working with older people and people who need care
• Ability to work independently and responsibly within a team, a focus on service and enjoyment of the work
• Good German skills, at least B2
• Willingness to work shifts and occasional weekends
