The apprenticeship as a sales assistant / retail management assistant at EDEKA in Wiefelstede teaches customer service, product range design, cash register operation, and marketing basics.

With your acquired knowledge, you serve and advise our customers. We teach you how to design the product range and take responsibility for sales and marketing of our goods. We show you how to operate cash registers, create settlements, and analyze figures. You learn to participate in product range design, because your ideas count too!

You have a lower secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) and an interest in business contexts. You enjoy serving customers and working in a team. You quickly understand what matters, work independently, and can express yourself well. You have German language skills at least at B1 level (proof required) to communicate with customers and follow vocational school lessons. You need a valid work permit for Germany, as you will learn directly with our team on site from the start.
