Apprenticeship as a Retail Management Specialist - 2027

With a qualification as a retail management specialist, you will become part of tomorrow's management talent or can become self-employed as a merchant at EDEKA. After three years, you will hold two qualifications: retail salesperson and retail management specialist (m/w/d).

• Day-to-day retail operations: You learn about all relevant areas, from purchasing and sales to marketing and professional customer advice.
• Business analysis: You determine and analyze key figures and use them to make well-founded decisions for the company's success.
• Inventory management and logistics: You gain insights into procurement, stock management and the entire flow of goods in the store.
• Business processes: You deal intensively with business administration, work organization, accounting, branch accounting and sales.
• Management and personnel: You explore modern leadership approaches and learn how to motivate, deploy and develop employees.

• School qualification: You need the Abitur or an advanced technical college entrance qualification for admission.
• Foodie: You are passionate about food.
• Business administration: You are interested in business processes.
• Numbers person: You have a good understanding of mathematics.
• Organizational talent: You can organize yourself independently.
• Motivation: You are motivated and willing to contribute.
