Apprenticeship as a Retail Salesperson 2027

You will become part of the EDEKA Verbund, work with people and learn about the diverse processes involved in the food retail sector. The three-year apprenticeship may be shortened under certain conditions if your performance is good. Alongside vocational school, you will attend seminars and can specialize in different areas of retail.

You will handle merchandise and take on tasks in sales, purchasing, ordering and warehouse operations. You will advise customers, operate the tills and carry out cash reconciliations. You will also create sales-promoting product displays, contribute to assortment planning, marketing and merchandise presentation, manage inventory-related processes and support staff scheduling.
