Become a trade expert - during your apprenticeship you will master varied and versatile activities and develop into a genuine expert in food wholesale. You will rotate through all departments in our wholesale market and gain deep insight into the processes and workflows of a wholesale company.

You learn how to become the best possible contact person for our customers. In product presentation and planning of sales promotions, your creative ideas are needed. We show you how to operate the cash register and handle customer complaints.

You have a friendly demeanor and enjoy dealing with people. You are an absolute team player and reliability is not a foreign word to you. You are motivated and look forward to learning new things.

We build your personal skills through our in-house training seminars. From the start, you take on exciting and varied tasks. Through our apprenticeship-accompanying seminars including intensive exam preparation, we prepare you optimally for your final exam and career. Our e-learning courses support you during your apprenticeship, also to learn cross-disciplinary topics. Benefit after your apprenticeship from our diverse further training and development opportunities. We train for the future: with good performance we look forward to taking you on in a permanent employment relationship after your apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship lasts three years and can be shortened under certain conditions. In addition to vocational school, you attend our internal apprenticeship-accompanying seminars, which only EDEKA offers in this form. This gives you the chance to optimally prepare for the activities in your professional field and pave the way for a steep career with us. Throughout your entire apprenticeship, you have a fixed contact person on site who supports you with questions about the apprenticeship.
