Salesperson Apprenticeship with Additional Fresh Produce Specialist Qualification 2027

The apprenticeship initially lasts two years and can be extended to three years through the additional Fresh Produce Specialist (IHK) qualification and a third year as a Retail Salesperson.

Learning a wide range of retail tasks with a focus on fresh-food and service-oriented food departments; serving and advising customers in fresh-food departments; operating tills, handling reconciliations and advising customers on services; creating sales-promoting product presentations and contributing to assortment planning, marketing and merchandise setup; storing and handling fresh food correctly and observing hygiene standards; organizing sales and tasting events and assessing their success using merchandise-management data.
