Do you want to work with people, take responsibility and learn something new every day? With us you are not just an apprentice – you become part of a strong community that loves food and shapes your future. Your apprenticeship lasts 2 years. Under certain conditions, it can be shortened by 6 months with good performance. Afterwards you will have the qualification as a salesperson (m/f/d) – a foundation for a fast career. Want more? You can then add a third year as a retail management assistant (m/f/d) and prepare for self-employment with EDEKA. During the apprenticeship you will go through varied fields of activity and with exclusive training and further education programs we push you to even more success, step by step. In addition to vocational school, you will attend seminars that only EDEKA offers in this form and that provide you with important additional information. You can also do an internship with us at any time: it is best to contact your desired market directly in person.

You advise customers as the first point of contact and are also the first showcase of our philosophy: We love food. You master everything related to goods – besides sales you also work in purchasing, ordering and warehousing. You operate the cash registers and advise our customers on our services. You ensure a sales-promoting presentation of goods and participate in assortment design and product display.
