Apprenticeship as a Sales Assistant 2027

During the two-year apprenticeship, you will work in different areas of an EDEKA market and learn about sales, merchandise management, checkout operations, and customer service. You will also attend vocational school and EDEKA seminars. With good performance, the apprenticeship can be shortened by six months and continued with a third year to qualify as a retail salesperson.

• Advise customers and represent EDEKA's food-focused philosophy as their first point of contact
• Sell goods and work in purchasing, ordering, and warehousing
• Operate the checkout and advise customers on services and service offerings
• Present goods in a sales-promoting way and help shape the product range and merchandise displays
