Dual Study Program Business Administration - Human Resource Management (B.A.)

Discover the diverse world of human resource management: From supporting employees and managers to attracting and developing talent to designing modern HR processes, you will work on varied tasks and take on responsibility early in exciting projects. Duration of studies: 6 semesters. University: Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) - Campus Lörrach. During your studies, you will acquire sound knowledge of business contexts and HR topics. In your practical phases, you will get to know the various areas of a modern HR department and actively participate in daily business and projects. You will support, for example, the support of employees and managers (e.g., preparation of employment contracts and references, administrative HR processes, analysis of HR key figures), the attraction and development of talent (e.g., job postings, application processes, planning of seminars and workshops), and the further development of modern HR work (e.g., employer branding measures, creation of social media content, optimization of HR processes, introduction of digital HR tools). With increasing experience, you can perform many of these tasks independently and take responsibility for your own projects.

By the start of your studies, you have successfully completed the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or the university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) with a focus on business. Ideally, you have already gained initial insights into commercial activities through an internship and discovered your interest in business topics. You bring high self-motivation and willingness to learn, work out content independently, and can organize yourself well. With your open manner, you enjoy approaching people and communicate confidently with different contacts. You work in a structured manner, like to take responsibility, and enjoy understanding connections.
