Heat Pump (PAC) Expert, permanent contract

As a heat pump (PAC) expert you join the Industrial Expertise Department of ENGIE Solutions, in a team of about 8 people. Your main role is to provide your expertise on heat pumps and related auxiliary systems and to support regional teams within the industrial policy of ENGIE Solutions France.

• Industrial policy and technical monitoring: help define configurations, uses and limits of heat pumps, contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement, monitor the technical field and represent ENGIE Solutions internally and externally.
• Technical expertise: carry out audits and one-off expert reviews on site, produce technical recommendations, integrate heat pumps into digital tools, support regional, sales and project teams and talk with suppliers.
• Training, facilitation and project management: co-lead technical communities around heat pumps, manage sharing spaces, run or join internal training sessions and act as project lead on specific actions.

• Education: BAC+4/5, e.g. engineering school or equivalent, specializing in thermal engineering, energy or process engineering.
• Experience: at least 5 years in mechanics and thermodynamic machines (PAC, GF, TFP, absorption), ideally at a manufacturer or in industry.
• Skills: solid expertise in heat pumps, especially in industrial or commercial uses, good understanding of their integration in complex energy systems, basic project management, knowledge of regulations for thermodynamic equipment, confidence writing technical documents and recommendations, independent management of time and priorities.
• Personal qualities: good people skills, listening, ability to work with varied people, reactivity, rigor, organization, proactivity, initiative and a teaching mindset.
