Apprenticeship Electronics Technician for Operations Technology Bayreuth

At Bayernwerk Netz GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of E.ON, you will become an electronics technician for operations technology step by step in a 3.5-year apprenticeship. You will learn how electricity reaches where it is needed, how to install, maintain and repair high- and low-voltage grids and transformers, and how to fix faults in the power grid. You spend one third of your training time each at the Bayreuth training center, the Bayreuth site and the Bayreuth vocational school.

• Learn how electricity reaches where it is needed, whether in homes, industrial plants or EV charging stations
• Install, maintain and repair high- and low-voltage grids and transformers and move safely in substations
• Identify and fix faults in the power grid

• You will soon have your intermediate school certificate or a good Mittelschule certificate.
• You find math, physics and technology exciting, especially when you can try them out on the local energy grid.
• You are hands-on and tough – working outdoors in wind and weather does not put you off.
• You are reliable, willing to learn and want to achieve something together with others.
• Color recognition is no problem for you (important when working with cables).
• You have a sense of safety at work and for your team.
• Very good German skills (at least B2) round off your profile.
