• How electricity gets where it's needed, whether in residential buildings, industrial plants or e-charging stations.
• How you install, maintain and repair high-voltage and low-voltage grids as well as transformers and move safely in substations.
• How you can identify and rectify faults in the electricity grid and ensure that our energy grid runs reliably around the clock. 📚 Theory and practice? No contradiction with us: You spend a third of your apprenticeship time in the Würzburg training centre, at the Würzburg site and various customer centres (Marktheidenfeld or Fuchsstadt) and at the Würzburg vocational school. And the best part: You are part of a strong apprentice community with many hundreds of fellow apprentices! 💪

• You will soon have your intermediate school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife) or a good lower secondary school leaving certificate.
• You find maths, physics & technology exciting, especially when you can try them out yourself on the energy grid on site.
• You are hands-on and not made of sugar – working outdoors in wind and weather doesn't scare you off.
• You are reliable, eager to learn and want to really move things together with others.
• Colour recognition is no problem for you (important when working with cables).
• You have a sense of safety at work and for your team.
• Very good German skills (at least B2) round off your profile.
