Apprenticeship duration: 3.5 years Focus areas in vocational school: - Fundamentals of electrical engineering - Electrical installation - Control engineering/regulation engineering - Electrical energy supply - Electronics - Programmable logic controllers - Drive technology The vocational school is the Oberstufenzentrum Gebrüder Reichstein in Brandenburg/Havel and takes place in block form. You alternate between vocational school and the company. Focus areas in the training center and company: In your apprenticeship you will learn all activities in the field of electrical: - Energy technology - Installation, assembly and maintenance of energy supply systems, automation technology, IT and network technology as well as control and regulation technology - Maintenance and repair of distribution networks - Maintenance and upkeep of substations and transformer stations - Maintenance and configuration of metering units - Connection of renewable energy systems (e.g. solar technology) Practical training takes place at the Brandenburg training center and company deployment at the local regional site in our grid area. Apprenticeship schedule: 1st year: - Teaching of manual and theoretical basics of electrical engineering/electronics at the Brandenburg training center 2nd year: - Deepening and application of manual and theoretical basics of electrical engineering/electronics at the Brandenburg training center - Mid-second year final exam part 1, the exam result already flows 40% into the overall result of your final exam - Practical deployment in specialist departments 3rd year: - Practical deployment in specialist departments - Deepening and application of specialist knowledge 4th year: - Practical deployment in specialist departments - Exam preparation at the Brandenburg training center after 3.5 years final exam part 2
