We ensure a secure power supply day and night and make our grid fit for the energy future. Join us! You want to help shape the energy supply of tomorrow and gain practical experience in exciting infrastructure projects? Then support our team in the planning and implementation of substation projects in the South Saxony network region. As a working student in Primary Technology (m/f/d), you will gain exciting insights into project work around substations and technical systems and work on real projects.
What You'll Learn
Participate in the planning of substation projects. Together with the team, you support the design of technical systems and learn about the various phases of modern energy infrastructure projects. Prepare technical documents and project documents. You carefully process tenders, documentation and other planning documents and gain insights into technical project processes. Support project teams in coordination. You actively accompany the collaboration between planning, construction and operation and learn about the diverse interfaces of a network project. Create evaluations and project overviews. You prepare technical analyses, presentations and decision-making bases in an understandable way and thus support ongoing projects. Experience practice on site. During site visits and project appointments, you gain insights into the implementation of substations and experience energy infrastructure outside the office.
Requirements
Degree in energy technology, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical field. You are currently enrolled at a university or college and want to deepen your knowledge in practice. Enthusiasm for energy supply and technical infrastructure. Topics around substations, power grids and the energy transition arouse your interest and motivate you to gain practical experience. Analytical thinking and structured way of working. You approach new tasks in an organized manner and keep an overview even with complex interrelationships. Proficient in MS Office. You routinely use applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint for evaluations, documentation and presentations. Strong team spirit and communication skills. You enjoy working with different contacts; initial exposure to project management or energy supply projects is an additional plus. You have at least B2-level German, ideally C1-level, because close collaboration within the team and regular exchange with various departments rely on clear and reliable communication.
