Salesforce System Engineer - Architecture & Platform

Your mission: As Salesforce System Engineer - Architecture & Platform (f/m/d) you are responsible for the end-to-end further development of our Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud from application architecture to operational implementation in a complex system landscape. Together with E2E architects, business units, product owners and other stakeholders you develop scalable and high-performance platform solutions. You combine technological innovation with stable processes and integrate relevant developments from the Salesforce roadmap as well as new technologies such as AI into the technical orientation of our platform.

Your playing field: Assume technical platform responsibility and drive innovative solutions. The end-to-end further development of our Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud is in your hands - from application architecture to operational implementation within a complex system landscape including integration platforms such as MuleSoft. Design scalable application architectures and improve customer outcomes. Lead developers technically and enable shared successes. Manage complex projects decisively and deliver results. Challenge processes and develop DevOps excellence. Recognise technological trends and systematically integrate innovation.

• End-to-end further development of the Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud from application architecture to operational implementation
• Technical platform responsibility in complex system landscape including integration platforms (MuleSoft)
• Design of scalable application architectures and coordination with E2E architects, business units, product owners
• Technical leadership of agile development teams and management of external partners
• Management of technical initiatives in large project structures
• Continuous optimisation of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, deployment and release strategies
• Analysis of Salesforce roadmap and market trends (e.g. AI) and integration into architecture

• Completed degree in computer science or business informatics
• Several years of experience in Salesforce system architecture, integration and Salesforce implementations (ideally more than five years)
• Ability to develop scalable architecture concepts and implement them with technical excellence
• Project management, technical leadership and agile working methods (Scrum, SAFe)
• Commitment to high quality standards and building stable systems
• Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
• Proactive, self-reliant approach and active shaping of change
• Strong communication skills and ability to convince stakeholders
• Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs
• Confident with GitLab, Salesforce CLI, Visual Studio Code, Jira, Confluence
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, CI/CD pipelines, deployment and release strategies
• Familiar with AI in engineering
• German language skills at C1 level
• English language skills at C1 level
