Software Developer Focus Test Automation

Our test automation plays a central role: it helps us cope with the constantly increasing number of software tests and relieve testers from manual tests.

• Independent further development of test automation for our software applications and modules of the EOSYSTEM software for process control of 3D printers
• Design and implementation of ready-to-use solutions for test automation of our software components together with a highly motivated team and in regular coordination with software architects and system engineers, particularly with regard to quality aspects
• Enjoyment in actively tackling functional and component tests and automating them
• Proactive participation and co-design of the technical further development of software applications and their interfaces
• Analysis, discussion and documentation of requirements regarding tests for the EOS software of the future in exchange with internal and external experts
• High-quality and needs-based documentation of design, interfaces and source code for the respective target group
• Active participation and co-design of the agile way of working in the Scrum development team

• Completed degree in computer science, mathematics, mechatronics or a comparable technical course of study
• Several years of professional experience and good knowledge of software test processes
• Very good knowledge in the field of test automation / Python as well as with Continuous Integration, GIT and AzureDevOps
• Ability to quickly and independently familiarize yourself with new subject areas, technologies and existing software landscapes
• Interest and enjoyment in technical processes
• Knowledge in the field of control engineering and automation in mechanical engineering desirable
• Implementation-strong personality who likes to work in a structured and solution-oriented manner in a team
• Very good analytical, planning and organizational skills as well as openness to change; seeing change as an opportunity and not as a risk
• Very good communication skills in German and English
