System Developer Design - fixed term

EOS, world market leader in industrial 3D printing, is looking for support for its Mechanical Engineering team in Krailling. The position is limited to 2 years.

• You help develop, adapt and maintain laser sintering systems and related peripheral systems, from concept study to finished series products.
• In your design work you consider all necessary safety aspects and the high quality demands for use in production environments.
• You create CAD models and derive standard-compliant drawings from them in SolidWorks.
• Based on your designs, you create bills of materials and maintain the technical data needed to produce an order-ready data package.
• You create feasibility, effort and risk analyses in project preparation.

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering or similar. Alternatively, a qualification as a technician (e.g. for mechanical engineering) with relevant work experience or a comparable qualification.
• Work experience preferably in a high-tech environment in machine and plant engineering.
• Good knowledge and experience in applying relevant industry standards and guidelines, especially regarding safety aspects (e.g. EC Machinery Directive).
• Very good knowledge and experience in 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of PDM and ERP systems (preferably SAP ECTR).
• Very good German and English skills, written and spoken.
