Apprenticeship as Mechatronics Technician

1st and 2nd apprenticeship year – Basics in the training workshop: External instruction at Jena Education Center, You learn to build complex systems from mechanical, electrical and electronic components, You manufacture individual parts and assemble them into complete systems, You commission finished systems and program the associated software, You work with circuit diagrams and design drawings and test systems, Maintenance, repair and conversion are also included. From 3rd apprenticeship year – Practice in the company: Your deployment in our workshop and especially in production begins, You are co-responsible for the functionality of our production systems, Experienced specialists are at your side at all times, Since we produce in a shift system, you will also work in shifts in the future. Vocational school: also in Jena, in block instruction approx. every 3 weeks for 2 weeks at a time.

Good to very good secondary school diploma (avg. 2.0) or high school diploma (avg. 2.5), Good to very good grades in science subjects, Genuine interest in math and physics, Understanding of technical and electronic relationships, Independence, sense of responsibility and determination, Motivation and reliability, Willingness to work shifts, Relevant internships are an advantage but not required
