• Planning and execution of projects for the development and further development of manufacturing processes in the production of optical components
• Focus on final figure correction processes MRF and IBF
• Documentation and presentation of project results and creation of technical documents for production
• Transfer of newly developed processes into production / series production
• Analysis of manufacturing processes and identification of improvement potential
• Point of contact for the product development department on questions of manufacturability of optical components
• Preparation and creation of investment requests as well as commissioning of new production technology and its transfer into production including creation of necessary documents
• Independent problem solving on relevant processes
• Presentation of facts in lectures and presentations internally and externally
• Close technical exchange with internal and external partners

• Diploma or Master's degree in an engineering or scientific field, or extensive experience in the relevant professional environment
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing technologies for optical precision components with highest accuracies for the semiconductor industry
• Strong interest and enjoyment in the development and further development of manufacturing processes
• Pronounced experience as a project manager and command of project management tools
• Sound knowledge in process analysis and optimization (e.g., problem-solving methods, Six Sigma, CIP, Lean, 8D report)
• Social skills and ability to lead a project group
• Independent, proactive working style
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, willingness to take responsibility, service and customer orientation
• Good analytical skills, a committed, structured and results-oriented working style, as well as a high degree of assertiveness and resilience
• International mindset combined with enjoyment of working in a team in an interface-intensive role
• Negotiation-level German and English skills
