Planning and execution of projects for the new and further development of manufacturing processes in the production of optical components Focus on grinding and polishing processes on optical high-performance components for applications in the semiconductor market Documentation and presentation of project results as well as creation of technological documents for production Transfer of newly developed processes into production / series production Analysis of manufacturing processes and identification of improvement potential Point of contact for the product development department for questions on the manufacturability of optical components Preparation and creation of investment requests as well as commissioning of new production technology and its transfer into production, including creation of necessary documents Independent problem solving on relevant processes Presentation of facts in lectures and presentations internally and externally Close technical exchange with internal and external partners

Diploma or Master's degree in an engineering or natural science course of study or many years of experience in the relevant professional environment Sound knowledge of technologies for manufacturing optical precision components with highest accuracies Strong interest and joy in the development and further development of manufacturing processes Pronounced experience as project manager and mastery of project management tools Knowledge in process analysis and optimization (e.g. problem-solving methods, Six Sigma, CIP, Lean, 8D report) Social competencies and ability to lead a project group Independent, proactive working style Very good communication and conflict resolution skills, willingness to take responsibility, service and customer orientation Good analytical skills, a committed, structured and result-oriented working style as well as a high degree of assertiveness and resilience International mindset combined with the joy of working in a team in an interface-intensive role Negotiation-proficient German and English skills
