• The practical training:
• Installation, maintenance and servicing of measuring, control and regulating devices on electrical production plants and process control systems
• Measuring physical quantities such as pressure, temperature and flow, as well as electrical quantities such as currents and voltages
• Maintenance, repair and testing of electrical systems
• Creating and extending control programs and programming automated plants
• Installation and initialization of operating systems, bus systems and network technology
• Optimization and troubleshooting in ongoing production processes
• Organization of work processes and implementation of projects in the field of electrical and automation technology

The theoretical training: - At the Heinz Nixdorf Vocational College in Essen, you will be taught a solid basic knowledge in subject-specific and general education subjects.

• Fachoberschulreife/Mittlere Reife or higher school leaving certificate
• Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and technical-physical understanding
• Accuracy, manual dexterity, and fine motor skills
• Good, solid mathematical knowledge from secondary level I
• Enjoyment of working with digital systems and applications

- **Ausbildung Compensation** Already in the first year of your Ausbildung, you will receive over €1,100/month. Afterwards, your monthly salary increases with each Ausbildung year. On top of that, you will receive additional benefits such as holiday and Christmas bonuses.
