2027 Industrial Mechanic Apprenticeship, Herne

The industrial mechanic apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years and starts on 1 September 2027. Practical work takes place in Herne, with courses at the training centre in Chemiepark Marl. Classroom teaching takes place at Max-Born-Berufskolleg vocational school in Recklinghausen.

• Maintain pumps, valves and pipe systems
• Weld and assemble structural and plant components
• Use technical documents such as standards, engineering drawings, assembly plans and maintenance schedules
