Evonik offers a varied, high-quality apprenticeship. As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) you make sure production runs without disruption. There are no application deadlines; you can apply as long as the position is advertised. After the apprenticeship, further training as a technician or master craftsperson is possible.

• Planning, building, installing, maintaining and optimizing production plants
• Metalworking with tools and machines (e.g. drilling, turning, milling, welding)
• New manufacture or procurement of various plant parts
• Service and maintenance of machines and plants
• Monitoring and optimizing production plants and processes
• Use of modern technologies: electrical engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics and IT
• Complying with and checking quality standards, taking occupational safety and environmental protection into account
• Theoretical training at the Erasmus-Kittler vocational school in Darmstadt with solid basic knowledge in subject-specific and general subjects

• good Hauptschule certificate or higher school qualification
• Fun and interest in technology and technical-physical understanding
• Precision, manual skill and dexterity
