Production Employee / Plant Operator

At Evonik, a globally active chemical company, you work at the intersection of the most important technologies and industries. As a production employee / plant operator at the Wittenburg site, you monitor and control production plants.

• Plant monitoring: Carrying out plant rounds, including operating, checking and monitoring production and auxiliary plants in compliance with all safety regulations, including work under respiratory protection
• Process control: Monitoring, controlling and documenting production processes according to set operating, quality and safety standards
• Production logistics: Filling the production plants and carrying out filling, transfer, packaging, labeling and transport tasks
• Quality control: Independently taking standardized process and quality samples and carrying out simple analytical tests to ensure product quality
• Process control technology: Operating process control systems to control the production plants
• Maintenance: Independently carrying out minor maintenance and repair work
• Production planning: Helping to plan and organize production processes according to company guidelines and work instructions

• Training: Successfully completed vocational training, preferably in a chemical, technical or skilled trade occupation
• Work experience: Several years of work experience in a production-related or comparable area
• Plant knowledge: Experience working with production plants and process engineering processes
• Industrial trucks: Forklift license desirable
• Language skills: Good German skills, spoken and written
• Personal skills: A high sense of responsibility as well as strong communication, cooperation and teamwork skills
• Occupational safety: Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, especially full and half masks and powered air hoods
