• Monitoring and control of chemical processes
• Maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of chemical production plants
• Control and operation of fittings, measuring and control devices
• Conducting simple chemical tests for quality control
• Production, processing, and dispatch of products
• Performing various process engineering methods (e.g., heating, cooling, filtering)
• Compliance with and verification of quality standards taking into account occupational safety and environmental protection
• Theoretical training in block form at the vocational school Bildungszentrum Dithmarschen in Meldorf and at the training center of the Chemiepark Marl

• Good secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) or higher school diploma
• Enjoyment and interest in natural sciences, especially chemistry
• Technical-physical understanding
• Good mathematical skills
• Willingness to work shifts (rotating shifts)
• Enjoyment in dealing with digital systems and applications
• Care and ability to concentrate
• Desire for teamwork
