Theory phases at DHBW Mannheim: Basic engineering education, lectures in mathematics and physics, electrical engineering, control engineering, communication technology, and English, basic knowledge in the development and application of information systems with a business orientation. Practical phases in the company: Getting to know electrical engineering and control engineering, measuring and analyzing electrical systems, configuring and programming automation systems, participating in projects of our technical specialist and planning units, evaluating and implementing innovative technologies and products with the goal of energy and raw material savings, knowledge of developing and piloting new technical concepts in plant planning and realization as well as maintenance. Training duration: 3 years. Training start: 01.09.2027. Training location: The training takes place in a three-month rotation between practical phases at the Evonik site Hanau and theory phases at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (Mannheim).
