Working Student IT First-Level Support at the Feldkirchen site

At our Excelitas site in Feldkirchen we develop and produce highly complex optomechatronic components, assemblies and systems. As a working student in IT first-level support, you help our employees with IT requests and technical problems.

• In first-level support, you help our employees with IT requests, analyze errors and help with technical problems in daily work
• You reliably document and follow up on support requests and IT tickets
• Installing, configuring and commissioning hardware and software is also part of your duties
• You actively help in looking after and maintaining our IT hardware, for example PCs, servers, smartphones, tablets and peripherals
• You help with maintaining and managing our IT hardware inventory
• Together with external IT service providers and manufacturers, you work on error analysis and support cases
• You coordinate more complex problems with the responsible departments and support their resolution
• You also support our team in projects to further develop and optimize our IT services
• You continuously expand your knowledge of current technologies, products and IT services and contribute new ideas
• As needed, you create reports and analyses and take on further tasks in IT support and IT operations

• You are an enrolled student (f/m/d), for example in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science or a comparable program; other fields of study are also welcome if you have a strong interest in IT topics
• Ideally you have already gained some experience in IT support, but this is not a requirement
• You are interested in technical relationships and enjoy getting into new topics
• You have analytical thinking and a strong affinity for IT
• You are confident with common MS Office applications; first experience with ticket systems or SharePoint is an advantage
• You communicate confidently in German and have good written and spoken English
