Apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for Application Development 2027 - Middleware Team

In the Middleware team, you will learn how applications exchange information and how digital processes work together. From the beginning, you will combine practical company experience with vocational-school knowledge and gradually learn to plan, program, test and further develop software.

You will learn how applications are structured and develop new features with the team. You will create connections between different systems so information can be exchanged reliably. You will test software, investigate the causes of errors and find suitable solutions. You will document your work clearly and exchange ideas with different IT teams to help shape digital solutions.

You will work with programming, interfaces and databases. No prior knowledge is required; curiosity, your own ideas and a willingness to learn are what matter. You have an intermediate school-leaving certificate, an advanced technical college entrance qualification or the Abitur, or are close to obtaining one. You are curious about IT, approach tasks step by step, ask questions when something is unclear, enjoy developing together with others and like working in a team.
