Career Changer Medical Device Reprocessing

To strengthen our team in Kassel, we are looking to hire, starting immediately, an employee / career changer (m/f/d) for medical device reprocessing, permanent and full-time. CASALIS Facility Services is a joint subsidiary of Klinikum Kassel and HERMED. Employees clean, disinfect and sterilize reusable medical devices, especially surgical instruments, for Klinikum Kassel and other hospitals in the region.

• Receiving medical devices and assigning them to the appropriate reprocessing methods
• Machine cleaning and disinfection of medical devices
• Inspection and checking of cleaned and disinfected items
• Function checks and care of materials
• Replacing defective instruments
• Packing sets according to packing lists and then wrapping them according to work instructions
• Carrying out daily routine checks on the equipment
• Determining the loading and choosing suitable reprocessing methods

• Ideally a successful qualification as a sterilization assistant
• Fachkunde I or willingness to obtain it, career changers are equally welcome
• Openness to shift and weekend work, with attractive extra pay
