About this Apprenticeship
You want to work on strategic digitalization projects during your studies and experience how international project portfolios are managed and management decisions are prepared? Then become part of our Digital Operations team and support us in advancing the digitalization of our production and operations areas worldwide. As a working student (m/f/d), you work at the interface of strategic project management, IT, data, digital platforms, and production. You gain insights into international projects, strategic initiatives, and management decisions – and take on your own responsibility from the start. You work closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and executives, and learn how concrete projects, roadmaps, and decisions emerge from strategic objectives.
What You'll Learn
- Project and portfolio management: You support the steering of our international project portfolio and keep track of projects, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Management reporting: You analyze project information and prepare meaningful reports, dashboards, and management presentations
- Strategic decision support: You prepare portfolio reviews and management meetings and structure information so that clear decision bases emerge
- Digitalization roadmaps: You support the further development of our strategic project portfolio and the creation of roadmaps for our international production sites
- PMO & methodology: You contribute your own ideas and help further develop our project management methods, processes, and standards – for example in reporting, risk management, and stakeholder management
- International collaboration: You support the preparation and conduct of workshops, trainings, and alignments with international teams and sites
- Own responsibility: After a structured onboarding you take on your own work packages and drive them forward independently
Requirements
- Ongoing full-time studies in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable degree program
- Very good German and/or English skills, written and spoken
- Strong interest in project management, consulting, digitalization, and strategic issues
- Very good analytical skills and enjoyment in structuring complex information and presenting it clearly
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Quick comprehension and willingness to independently familiarize yourself with new topics, systems, and methods
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment working with diverse stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- First experience with project management tools, project work, or consulting is helpful – but not required
