About this Apprenticeship
HOLZHAUER KG is seeking a warehouse employee to start as soon as possible at its pipe warehouse in Merzig. Work with large pipes for water, plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation systems takes place partly indoors and often outdoors in all weather.
What You'll Learn
- Receive, check and sort incoming goods and record them in the inventory management system
- Store goods and move them within the site, using industrial trucks when needed
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders using handheld scanners
- Help load and unload trucks according to loading lists and shipping instructions
- Check goods for dispatch and carefully record inspection results
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in warehouse logistics or warehousing, or relevant experience in warehousing or logistics
- Forklift and crane licences are desirable
- Team spirit and a structured, organised approach to keep warehouse operations running smoothly
- High reliability and consistent compliance with quality and safety standards
- Ability to work in all weather and enjoyment of working outdoors
