Apprenticeship as Management Assistant in Wholesale and Foreign Trade

We are currently completing an apprenticeship as management assistants in wholesale and foreign trade with a total of 20 apprentices. Over a period of 3 years we go through all departments of the company, including warehouse and office as well as our ABEXe (pick-up express warehouses). Work in the warehouse is particularly important to get to know and understand the products we sell. This enables us to better understand the needs of customers and advise them accordingly on the phone or in person, for example when they ask for a "fitting". This gives us a clear picture of what it is, allowing us to better understand their requirements and respond accordingly. Warehouse departments include warehouse office/fleet, goods receipt and returns. In the office we work in the departments Service, Purchasing, Accounting, ZVK (Central Sales), Heating, PV and Climate/Ventilation. With the help of our merchandise management system we create quotations, delivery notes, pick-up slips, credit notes and returns. In addition, we receive regular training on all products we distribute. We also spend some time in our ELEMENTS exhibition, where we learn everything about sanitary products. This gives us the opportunity to get in direct contact with end customers and gain practical experience.
