Assembling, expanding, modifying and commissioning as well as inspecting, maintaining and repairing process control equipment and energy distribution systems including troubleshooting and rectification. Measuring electrical and process engineering variables. Troubleshooting and rectification on assemblies and devices of process control technology. Inspection, maintenance and servicing of pneumatic, electrical and electronic process control systems. Reading circuit, device and functional diagrams and flow charts as well as documenting the work performed. Use of programmable controllers and computer-based process control systems in automation technology.

In addition to a good school leaving certificate (Realschule, Fachabitur or Abitur) and interest in activities in the pharmaceutical industry, we generally expect: particular interest in electrical engineering, physics, new technologies and mathematics.
