Apprentice Chemical Laboratory Technician

Starting 01.09.2027 at our Tübingen site. In the 3.5-year apprenticeship (can be shortened) you take on application-technical and analytical tasks. Block classes take place at the Kerschensteiner vocational school in Stuttgart.

• Application-technical and analytical investigations
• Carrying out laboratory and pilot-plant syntheses
• Bleaching, printing, dyeing and coating natural and synthetic fiber materials, assessing effects and fastness tests
• Producing and testing printing pastes and coating agents
• Using spectroscopic and chromatographic analysis methods
• Analyzing and monitoring textile auxiliaries and their raw materials according to standardized quality criteria and regulations to ensure product quality
• Operating and maintaining laboratory and pilot-plant equipment such as screen printing systems, coating systems and dryers
• Recording experiments and evaluating results

• Good Mittlere Reife or higher school diploma
• Interest in chemistry and natural sciences
