Apprenticeship Specialist for Protection and Security

You keep the factory site secure: you check people and vehicles, give information and are the contact person on site. You work closely with other units such as the plant fire brigade and monitor technology such as video and alarms in the control center.

• Receiving visitors, giving information and checking people, cars and trucks, creating ID badges
• Carrying out patrols, preventing break-ins and investigating security-related incidents
• Planning and carrying out measures to secure the site and staff as well as preventive danger-prevention measures
• Monitoring premises and grounds via video technology and detecting alarms from intrusion alarm systems

• At least a Mittlere Reife (intermediate school certificate)
• Turning 18 during the 1st year of training is desirable
• Reliable color vision
• Willingness to work flexible hours, e.g. early/late shifts as well as night and weekend shifts
• Enjoyment of working outdoors
• Confident manner and strong communication skills
• Interest in legal questions
• English communication skills as well as a strong power of observation and technical understanding
