Apprenticeship as Chemical Laboratory Technician

As a chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d), you support our specialists in the development, testing and quality control of chemical products. The practical training takes place at our site in Neu-Ulm, and the theoretical content is taught at vocational school. During the training you go through different laboratory areas and gain comprehensive insight into our work processes.

• Planning and carrying out chemical and physical tests
• Preparing, carrying out and evaluating test series
• Analyzing substances and samples with modern laboratory equipment
• Documenting and evaluating measurement results
• Applying quality and safety standards
• Producing and testing chemical substances
• Working with laboratory software and digital evaluation systems

• A good intermediate school certificate, advanced technical college entrance qualification or Abitur
• Interest in chemistry, physics and mathematics
• Careful and responsible way of working
• Technical understanding and enjoyment of experimenting
• Teamwork skills and willingness to learn
• Reliability and a strong awareness of quality
