Chemical Process Technician Apprenticeship

During this 3.5 year apprenticeship in Neu-Ulm, you support specialists in producing, testing and checking the quality of chemical products. Practical training takes place at the company, with theory taught at vocational school. You rotate through different laboratory areas and learn the working processes.

• Operate, monitor and control chemical production plants
• Use raw materials according to specified formulas
• Monitor and improve production processes
• Take samples and carry out quality checks
• Use measurement and control technology
• Identify and fix equipment faults
• Follow safety, environmental and quality standards
• Carry out servicing and maintenance on production equipment
• Record and analyze production data

• A good school leaving qualification, either Realschule or Abitur
• Interest in chemistry, physics and mathematics
• A careful and responsible approach to work
• Technical understanding and enjoyment of experimenting
• Teamwork skills and commitment
• Willingness to follow safety rules
