Financial Accountant Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Payments

Position as a financial accountant (f/m/d) focusing on accounts receivable, accounts payable and payment transactions.

• Independent handling of accounts receivable and payable accounting, including checking, coding and posting incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Bank and cash postings and booking of incoming and outgoing payments.
• Running and monitoring payment runs, including coordination with internal contacts.
• Open items management: clarifying/reconciling differences, maintaining open item lists, agreeing payment terms.
• Dunning and receivables management in cooperation with departments (and external parties if needed).
• Account reconciliations (receivables, payables, banks, general ledger) and support for accounting quality assurance.
• Support with monthly, quarterly and annual closings (preparing closing entries and reconciliations).
• Creating and further developing accounting analyses and reports.

• Completed commercial training, e.g. as a tax clerk, industrial clerk, office clerk or a comparable qualification.
• Practical experience in financial accounting, ideally focused on accounts receivable/payable.
• Confident use of an ERP system, ideally Diamant, and very good MS Office skills (especially Excel).
• Structured, careful and independent way of working; affinity for numbers and high quality standards.
• Team-oriented, service-oriented and solution-oriented communication.
