Apprenticeship as Tool Mechanic

Tool mechanics manufacture and maintain injection and compression molds for plastic parts. Accordingly, the training takes place primarily in mold making and all adjacent areas. As an apprentice, you will learn to implement design specifications from construction using various machining processes, including programming and operating numerically controlled machines. Additionally, you will deal with the most important properties of various plastics and familiarize yourself with the contents of quality management.
