Apprenticeship as a butcher

Apprenticeship in the in-house butcher's department of GLOBUS Markthallen. The three-year program teaches meat cutting, trimming and processing, as well as the relevant hygiene regulations.

Break down slaughtered animal carcasses, prepare meat for sale, produce meat and sausage products, and mince, cook, scald or smoke meat. Add ingredients and seasonings according to recipes, prepare delicatessen products and salads, and turn cuts of meat into roasts, schnitzels or minced meat. Comply with food law, hygiene regulations and the cleaning requirements for tools and machinery.
