The GLOBUS hypermarkets belong to the family-owned GLOBUS Group based in St. Wendel and have been one of Germany's leading retail companies since 1828. With over 60 hypermarkets and around 20,000 employees, we offer our customers a unique shopping experience with high-quality food and non-food items. Our range comprises up to 100,000 products, many from regional production. Our centerpiece is the in-house production in the butcher shop, bakery and GLOBUS restaurant as well as our fresh counters for sushi, cheese and fish. Theory meets practice: theory and practice phases alternate approximately every three months. You can apply your knowledge directly in your daily work. 3 years to a Bachelor's degree: You study Business Administration with a focus on Retail at the DHGE in Gera or at the DHSN in Dresden. Variety & Specialization: You get to know different areas of GLOBUS and can later specialize in a specific field. Responsibility & own ideas: You take on your own tasks, contribute ideas and help shape projects. Your network: You work with various teams and departments and get to know many people within GLOBUS. After your studies, you have the opportunity to take on management responsibilities in sales. GLOBUS covers study costs: In addition to your salary, we cover tuition fees and other costs such as travel expenses and books.

Advise customers and find suitable solutions; ensure customers find desired products and they are available; learn various processes of a GLOBUS hypermarket – from daily business to organization; practical assignments in different GLOBUS hypermarkets; work on projects and develop own ideas and solutions; take on own tasks and gradually more responsibility; deal with business contexts and processes in retail; get to know different teams and areas and build professional network; develop professionally and personally and gain insights into management tasks
