About this Apprenticeship
Hellmann is a global logistics company with around 10,000 employees at more than 200 locations worldwide. For the Osnabrück site we are looking for a commercial clerk in dispatch who records customer orders and coordinates the dispatch of export shipments.
What You'll Learn
- You accept customer orders and enter them in the freight forwarding system
- You forward shipment data to partner companies
- You receive freight documents from drivers
- You book time slots on online booking platforms or notify by phone
- You support the dispatch team
- You take care of general administrative tasks
- You coordinate the dispatch of our export shipments and support customs clearance activities
- You check our customers' shipment data and correct errors together with our service departments
Requirements
- Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or comparable training in industry, wholesale or shipping
- Knowledge of customs clearance desirable
- Practical work experience in logistics/freight forwarding and in the described field of work
- A structured way of working and conscientiousness
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- Good English skills
- Willingness to work shifts
