About this Apprenticeship
At Hellmann in Kabelsketal, you help shipping run smoothly and make sure departures happen on time. You work closely with drivers, warehouse staff and operations teams. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 21:15.
What You'll Learn
- Record departing transport services and monitor shipment flows.
- Create and prepare delivery notes, shipping documents and accompanying paperwork.
- Support and assist drivers during dispatch.
- Work closely with warehouse staff in daily operations.
- Carry out general warehouse tasks and checks.
- Follow and monitor load securing rules.
- Check and apply the current dangerous goods rules.
- Ensure shipping is carried out correctly and safely.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 21:15.
Requirements
- Ideally, completed vocational training as a warehouse operator or warehouse logistics specialist.
- Some experience in logistics, warehouse operations or shipping is an advantage.
- Physical fitness and a flexible approach to work.
- A strong willingness to help and a sense of responsibility.
- Confidence using mobile data collection devices.
- Knowledge of load securing and dangerous goods.
- A careful and reliable approach to work.
- Team spirit and a practical approach to getting things done.
