Air Freight Export Clerk

Hellmann is looking for a new member of its healthcare air freight export team in Neu-Isenburg. The role involves working independently and focusing on customers in a welcoming team.

• Handle various air freight export shipments, with a focus on healthcare
• Support business customers in German and English and work closely with Hellmann locations worldwide
• Handle dangerous goods shipments and follow all applicable air cargo safety rules, including Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Find solutions independently and communicate clearly with customers about shipment delays or problems
• Support price negotiations with customers and service providers, calculate quotes and prepare billing
• Handle complaints and manage damage claims

• Completed vocational training in freight forwarding and logistics services, wholesale and foreign trade, or a comparable qualification
• Some experience in international freight forwarding, ideally in air freight
• Excellent German and fluent English
• Knowledge of dangerous goods and air cargo security is an advantage
• Ideally, a valid Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certificate and a security background check (ZÜP)
• Ability to work well with teams that work remotely
• Confidence in making decisions and a focus on finding solutions
